Leadership, Resilience and the Power of Women Backing Women
Last week, Pipi Sopp, Hannah Winter and Marina Fazzolari had the privilege of attending The Growth Faculty’s live event with Michelle Obama.
For the first time in Australia, Michelle Obama shared her story in person, from her childhood on the South Side of Chicago, to the White House, to the life she continues to build as a global leader, advocate, author, mother and change maker.
It was a rare opportunity to hear from one of the most compelling voices of our time. But for our team, it was more than an inspiring event. It was a reminder of what great leadership can look like.
Grounded. Human. Resilient. Purposeful.
Michelle Obama spoke about navigating change, holding onto your values, finding strength in your story, and continuing to lead with courage even when the path is uncertain. For women in business, and especially women in finance, those messages matter.
Pipi Sopp says; Finance hasn’t always been an industry recognised for valuing the strengths many women bring to leadership and business, softness, empathy, resilience & adaptability. But that’s changing and women like Hannah, Marina and myself are a big part of that shift. We’re commercially sharp, deeply human, and committed to helping others move forward with confidence. At MedX Finance, we’re fortunate to have incredible women across the business who bring care, clarity and leadership to every client, partner and colleague they support.
A huge thank you to ProLoan for bringing everyone together and creating space for connection, inspiration and reflection.
Events like this remind us that leadership is not just about titles. It is about how you show up. How you support others. How you keep growing.
And how you use your story to help others find strength in theirs.
